Ní Liomsa an Teach Álainn Seo

Ní Liomsa an Teach Álainn Seo (This is Not My Beautiful House), is a one-person play exploring gender through the Irish myth of the Táin Bó Cuailgne.

Performed by native Irish speaker Seoirsín Bashford (The Crow’s Way) and written by Anna Ní Dhúill (Exit Music For Our World), Ní Liomsa an Teach Álainn Seo is a invitation to non-Irish and Gaelic speakers alike to experience the language through stories of shared understanding.

Written and directed by Anna Ní Dhúill, this play toured to Dublin, Liverpool and Kilkenny in April and May 2025. It premiered as a work-in-progress at the Galway Theatre Festival in May 2024.
